Week 1 Welcome to your first weekly newsletter where we will share with you all the skills necessary for you to overcome any fears or doubts you  may be having about the course you are about to take in changing  your life for the better. There are many aspects to setting up a successful online business and new skills that you must learn if you are to defeat the statastics and  become one of the 3% who actually make any money online, instead of  the 97% who never make a penny. A lot of nonsense has been said and written about making money  online and it is for this very reason we have decided to create this step  by step course for free, because we know how frustrating and  dissatisfied many people are with the so called work life balance which  is mainly work and very little life. Why should anyone have to spend the best part of their lives working long hours so that eventually when they are almost at the end of their  life, they are then given the freedom to do as they please in retirement?   This defered work life plan is obsolete and should no longer be the only  way to make a living, and it isn't. Did you know that while thousands have lost their jobs and everything they worked so hard for, a few individuals have been quitely making  fortunes during this recession?  It is a fact that 1% earn 96% of all the  money in this world, while the rest all work mainly for someone else for  a share of the remaining 4%?  Did you also know that more millionaires  are created during recessions than in better economic times?   Before the dawn of the Internet, starting a business was way beyond  the means of many because it involved borrowing large sums of money, to buy property, hire staff, buy goods, and so on, and many failed due to the  stresses involved in making those repayments while chasing those  owing them money, not to mention the many other headaches of a  bricks and mortar business. Today that has all changed as now anyone can start a profitable  business on the Internet, and for a small change investment that  doesn't require asking your bank for a loan.  However, what you want  to know is this.   Is it really possible for anyone to make money online?  It is a question I asked myself before getting started, and having done so, the answer is emphatically yes! So can anybody successfuly make a lot of money  online and get very rich quickly?  The answer to that is no, but most  people who take the time to learn before getting started, do succeed,  and some do go on to become very rich, but it very, and I mean very  rarely happens quickly. In fact most people never make a penny online because they never  bother to learn how to do it, and are easily fooled by sensational claims  made by others on how much money they are earning, believing they  too will soon make the same.  This of course is complete nonsense, and  I know, because it took us years before we learned this lesson and  started to educate ourselves. An Internet business is essentally a business, and should be treated like one. It is not a hobby, or a bit of fun although it should be  enjoyable and fun to do.   Making money is a skill, and like any skill such as carpentry, or  plastering or driving a car, it has to be learnt first. The deciding factor  to success is the refusal to quit, because quitters stay broke, while those  who refuse to give up, and are prepared to learn, will very soon start to  make a little money, which will grow as their knowledge does, over the months and years ahead. So don't espect to sack your boss next week, as this is a systematic step  by step learning curve, which we are sure will bear fruit provided you  follow and take action from your weekly course which we will send you  every week, and will include video showing you exactly how we got  started, using methods we still use today. Therefor what we recommend, we actually do, unlike so many other  "get rich quick" plans from broke people selling theories they have  never tried themselves.  Don't waste your money on any of them,  because they are here today, gone tomorrow dreamers while you and  us are realists and share a system that works. We started our education with various Gurus who only got us more  confused and disillusioned as they never told us all we needed to know,  but eventually we finally found someone who was actually saying that  making money online would take time and learning before any money  can be made. His name is Chris Farrell, and we joined his online membership at the  end of September, 2009 and have learnt more since that day than in  the previous 6 years of trying and learning fom all the other so called  experts who are still giving the wrong outdated information about  starting an Internet business. I am not saying that none of their information is useful, or doesn't work,  as most of it does.  However, the Internet is constantly changing, and to  be successful and remain so requires being able to adjust and keep up  with those changes so that your first business should grow and last for  years to come. We are more ambitious than that and want to experience the freedom and lifestyle enjoyed by the new secret rich who are making fortunes during this recession.  And doing so while many 10000's have or are losing their jobs through no fault of their own.  Forget the old way, working long hours for 50 or more years, most of every week, year after year.  This defered work/life plan sucks and we should refuse to be a part of it for longer than is necessary. Today we live in an age where high speed broadband and the Internet have presented opportunities to work far less while earning a lot more.  However, this isn't a get rich quick way as it will take a little time to get your first business onto the world wide net, as we first have to learn some simple but essential skills. The reason why 97% of people never make a penny online is because they never bother to educate themselves before selling something.  They fail to find out what people are after, as finding what people want first and giving it to them is better than selling something that nobody wants or needs and not making a penny. There are some key elements in setting up an online business without which success is impossible, and these are: Keyword Research Finding A Niche Within A Big Market Finding The Answers Or Solutions To What They Are Searching Giving It To Them FREE In Order To Build A Responsive List Fast Finding A Highly Used Keyword To Use As A Domain Name These are only the first steps but have no fear, as within a few weeks or months, all this will become child's play and easy to repeat with your second and third website, because several websites will earn more than one. So without further waffle lets take a look at the following videos and see me doing this on my laptop.  Simply watch and do the same and have no fear, you can do this! And so we come to the end of week 2 and next week we will be showing you how to take the next steps towards creating your first simple one page website.  The purpose of this first website will be to start building your first list because, despite what most Guru's tell you, they actually make most of their money by e-mailing their lists and not from sales made on their website. In order to give people a reason to subscribe to your list, you will first have to give them what they were looking for totally FREE in order to e-mail them with additional FREE information based upon their interest.  Only after at least 5 to 7 e-mails should you make your first recommendation to buy say an affiliate product within the niche they and you are involved in. These e-mails are automatically sent at periods pre-set by you which you have pre-loaded into your auto-responder follow up messages, (we will explain exactly how to do this when we cover auto-responders in a later newsletter). So until week 3 and the next steps towards your first online web business, thank you once again for being with us in your journey towards doing what 99.9% would never try because they would rather waste their lives and complain about how unlucky they are instead of making their own luck. Week 3 Welcome back to week 3 of your free weekly newsletter training step by step showing you how easy it is to design a good looking one page website that is designed to start building a list of subscribers within your chosen niche. We know how some other so called Guru's try to pretend that this is something too difficult for you to do because it really is not so.  Once you understand the fundementals of how this can be done and you are earning money, you may then decide to outsource this and other tasks allowing you more time and freedom to get on with doing other things, but for now I suggest you learn this skill and try this yourself. We have once again uploaded some videos which show and tell you what to do and how to do it so sit back, and watch how simple this is as we get started.  We will continue with adding to this next week, so don't worry as everything will be made clear to you. And so we come to the end of this week's training so copy what we have shown you and download the FREE web editor from Kompozer, unzip or exract all the components of the ziped file which you should have saved on your desktop. Then look for the Kompozer.exe bit, and open this and the rest can be sent to the Recycle bin as this is the only part you will require.  Then save this onto your desktop so you can easily find it. To get the code I show you, either sign up to my mailing list here if you have not already done so, or join the Chris Farrell membership as we did and get it there as well as tons of other useful benefits such as FREE unlimited webhosting for all your domain websites so that once you have 4 or more, you will be saving money.  You will have at least 5 websites if not 10 within the first 12 months of getting started because the more times you do this, the better you become. Also more websites done properly will give you many sources of income and therefore more money.  Some Guru's have 100's of websites and that is why they make millions as well as that they have been in business for many years.  It takes a few years to become rich but only a few months to start earning money. Week 4 So now we have been shown how to insert computer code into the website we are designing and one other code we need to insert is an autoresponder sign up box where we ask our visitors to give us their name and e-mail.  In order to get people to give you their name & e-mail you should give them a good reason to comply, such as something of real value FREE of charge. Before we do that, let me explain that there are 3 types of videos I create and use them all on my various websites.  As I explain on the above video, the first type is where I talk into my cam corder or video camera.  I then upload the video onto a blank DVD and format it.  After that I upload it to YouTube so that I get an embed code which I can copy and paste onto my notepad, save it and also copy onto the website I am creating or updating. I have recently discovered some new tactics that should increase the sign ups and those watching the videos on YouTube but again, this is something I will cover later as we progress with this FREE newsletter training you are getting from us. For now we are doing this is simple to copy and do baby steps so that you will realise that this is not rocket science and you can do it too.  So lets watch the next video here. So we come to the end of week 4 and although you might think I am taking too long with this, there are others who will find this pace fast enough.  The last thing we want is to overload you with information faster and confuse you. You will soon have your very first website online and building your list of subscribers, some of who will go on to buy your recommended products.  Too many people are in a hurry to get rich, and never earn a penny and eventually give up. So instead of getting started purely to get rich quick, start off by wanting to serve and help others because you reap what you sow and proving a service will bring you rewards in abundance. Another important task you will have to do is to find some excellent products where you have the right to give it away as this will help to grow your lists faster.  Make sure what you give away has a real value and not some junk you yourself wouldn't want.  Don't spend a lot getting them, in fact sometimes you can get some free e-books or reports that you are allowed to pass on even if it requires keeping a link to whoever wrote it. More about this next week, so until then keep learning and doing what we are sharing with you as without action, nothing will happen and your life will remain as it is today, which is not why you are here?
